Monroe Reflex on S-10?

My daughter's '02 2WD S-10 with 18K miles has a leaky shock.  I assume this isn't a warranty-covered item.  I have Monroe Reflex on my Avalanche and like them.  Does anyone have experience using these shocks on S-10s?

Me and my dad added a set of monroe sensa trac shocks to his 92 S-10 2wd.  it had 110K miles on the original shocks (they were in bad shape).  They made a huge improvement.  Sears had them for a good price

I'd still call the dealer and see if it's under warranty. I know they wear out, but it's not something I would really consider a "maintenance item" like brakes, oil changes, etc. At 18k miles, it's worth a phone call.

I had them on my 1996 GMC Jimmy 2-Door. I thought they were pretty good on road, off road and on the highway.

a leaky shock will be replaced under factory warrenty, i know, i had one replaced myself, the only problem is that theyll just replace the one with another oe style shock. if i were you, id get a set of monroes or "better than O.E." shock, and do it  yourself while things are easy to remove, cause the older it gets, the harder bolts are to reomve!
