Favorite Offroading Spot

Just curious as to where everyone goes offroading in their area and where there favorite spot is.

we have a little place called the spillway bout 30mins from neworleans... it is a awsome place to go mudding...ive seen some bad a** looking trucks roming around there after a good rain.

i used to go out by Moon rocks, or out in the back of sun valley. but i'm trying to sell my 89 and havent thought about taking my 95 out (probably get stuck with the long bed) then of course there is sand mountain. i used to unhook the trailer and take the 89 out on the dunes. it was great. but the 95's road like tires hate the sand

I'm not sure if it's considered "off road" or not but I'm in the woods a lot cutting wood or hunting or something. Usually on our land.

The only off road my truck sees is when I pull off to unload the KX250.  Their are many places around here in the DFW area.

I've taken mine out a couple of times, but it's a hard ride in a one ton, offroad.  I try to use it to tow something to the trailhead, like an ATV,  that's a little easier to manuever-

Checking cows in November when they are running on cornstalks.  It is fun, greasy mud usually, and you can go pretty fast.  The ground is frozen underneath the top few inches, so you aren't tearing up the fields either.

I usually just take mine off-road in situations similar to what Jp described.  Very rarely do I take the truck off-road just for the #### of it, so I don't really have a favorite spot.  The funny part is, I bought these Discoverer STT's (mud terrains) after the first season I went deer hunting because we had the most miserable possible weather and driving conditions and my worn out A/T tires wouldn't cut it.  It has now been about two winters since that season, and the driving conditions haven't been near as bad.  They sure did come in handy during all the snow we had this past winter though.....
