Some 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 trucks built prior to August 13, 2013 may have a front side door window belt molding re- tainer bolt that is corroded .

Replace the bolt with part number 11515397 . Apply Red Thread Ad- hesive (P/N 89021297, U .S .; P/N 10953488, Canada) or equivalent to the bolt threads .

Tighten the bolt to 27 lb .-in . (3 N-m) .
