2014 Sierra Vibration at Highway Speeds

Guys you wont get anywhere...its too big of an issue for GM to address...they will simply take the legal actions as they come and buy back the few (as a percentage that have been sold) that actually choose to go the legal route, vs repairing hundreds of thousands of trucks. .. its probably the transmission. ..and the reason why the 8spds are being phased in slowly... be willing to bet 2015s with the 8spds wont vibrate while the 6spds will still.... I traded mine off, lost about 7k... but regaining my sanity was worth it

I don't think this problem can be narrowed down to any one thing, including the trans. Mine is a 7/14 build which is damn close to when they switched to the 15's. Mine has 0 vibration and a little at highway speeds but depends on stretch of road.

I saw where it may have something to do with the truck weight being that the body was made light for mileage. If that's what it could be then that's why I haven't felt an vibrations. I have a toolbox with a bunch of sh*t in it and I'm guessing that it's roughly 500 lbs or more in the box alone.

 

The weight thing seems to make sense because it seems to be a random thing and not from a specific cab style, engine or gear ratio. Especially since it's not really a majority of them.

This is how bad mine is:

If I hold my hand on the floor and move the adjustable pedals up and down I can feel the floor resonating all the way back by the front of the drivers seat. Apparently this is due to the floorboards being so thin.

start making and posting youtube videos showing your vibration and use water or soda bottle to clearly demonstrate how bad the vibration is and also clearly show how smooth the road is so it cant be blamed for it.

 

its also a good idea to float across lanes to show the vibration doesn't change and further prove the road surface has nothing to do with the vibration

 

these videos will help you a lot when it is time to do your lemon law claim as well as help others by drawing needed attention to this issue

nice idea but mine and many others, it still vibrates even when pulling the boat so adding or reducing weight load doesn't solve or change the issue. on some it increases vibration and some its the same.

Was just saying maybe that's a reason I never felt it since I had the toolbox added less than a week after getting the truck and I don't believe I had it over 60 without the toolbox.
