I went by the GMC dealer today.  They had one of the new commercial trucks (can't remember the name) for sale.  It had a Duramax diesel and automatic transmission as well as a steak bed all for about $35,000 - not a bad price for a brand new commercial truck.  They also had quite a few 2003s on the lot - those are beautiful trucks.  They had two nicely equipped regular cab 4x4 Sierra SLEs on the lot for around $32,000.  A tad bit pricey, but nice trucks.  They had quite a few 2002s still on the lot including one of the Sierra "Professional" trucks, it was pretty nice.  The lot was also loaded with new Envoys and Yukons.

What were the specs? I am looking for the same with the LT package and basically every option but the engine block heater ( I wouldn't not get one because it had a heater, I just don't need it).

Specs

2003 2500HD CC 4wd LS

Bucket seats, locking rear, upgraded wheels (not tires), towing pkg, plow pkg, roof lights, 6 liter, auto trans, push button 4wd, cloth power seats (GGRRRRR I like the manual seats in my truck), radio with cd (not upgraded), signal mirrors, bedrail caps, 4.10 rear end

Basially a loaded LS.

I have the new truck bug  :D I like mine but i dont know they have some good deals right now.  Ill probably hold out until may and see what kinda deals they have then (i can cash in on the $400 grad bonus).  Its either a new truck or a GTO (hmmm thats not an easy choice)

Either way i will still own a truck (new one or mine)

That still sound like a pretty decent price to me.

If you are talking about the upcoming GTO, then the choice would be pretty easy for me. It would definetly be a truck, the new GTO's just don't impress me.

####, I guess those GMCs were pricier than I thought.  The ones on the lot were 4x4 SLE regular cab short beds with 5.3s, autos, custom cloth bench seats and alloy wheels.  One was $31,000, the other $34,000.  I did not see what made such a large price difference on two very similar trucks, but I didn't have much time to look.  They also had a left over 2002 Sierra SL extended cab with bed rails, vent shades, carpet, regular cloth bench seat and automatic for $26,000.

That's why my 2003 Truck will be paid off in the near future, so I can get me a new GTO, maybe a 2005, I think it might take a year to pay the truck off

my current truck is paid off and has been for a long time.

I just dont feel like starting over doing the mods thing.  A gto would be fun to drive.  I dont wanna pay MSRP either.

31000 for a regular cab    :D   .

Where do you live?Im in ND and my local Chevy dealer is selling 03 Z71 ext cab's,LS,everything but leather for just under 27000.They had 1 03 reg cab sportside Z71 LS and that went for 24000.

And thats not because of rebates. They have this Best Pricing deal, they knock like 5000 to 6000 grand off the sticker right away. They have been doing this for years.

I see you are out enforcing the rules on the forums again...

I am not trying to sell their trucks, I was simply stating my observations on the lot...I did not give even give an exact price...
