side view mirror wiggle?

Not sure if I should bring it up or not, but today traveling in very windy conditions I noticed some wiggle from my side view mirror. When I parked and inspected them I noticed the mirror itself is firm to the touch no matter what position it is in, but the entire housing has some play in it moving front to back, I can easily move it w/ my finger.

This is with the mirror in the "folded out" typical position.

Can anyone else check to confirm they have play in the mirrors? If yes maybe that's just part of the design w/ the autofolding mirrors?

Defect in your mirror. I had a similar issue with my GMT-900 driver's side mirror. Take it to the dealer & have them fix/replace.

Do you have power mirrors? Hit your power mirrors in/out and it should be fine. If you dont have power mirrors, its a defect.

Glad I found this post, my 2015 has the power folding mirrors and the entire housing has at least a 1" of lash play on both driver's and passenger's side. I'll try folding the mirrors in and out again to see if that resolves the problem. I know it's been cold here and those mirror folding motors aren't very strong.
