Remote Start Working Lights Not

I have yet to find anybody with this issue. I took my truck in for a recall on the throttle position sensor which was fixed but now my remote start is acting up. It starts every time but when it starts the parking lights dont come on anymore like they used too. They flash when you lock it and again when you press the start button but dont come on when it starts.

can you be sure they worked before the recall and not after?

Not sure on the 2014's but lights are programmable feature on GMT900's. Check DIC.

No luck. reset my factory settings, and went thru the dic n didnt see any options. Its a 2010 btw

This was an old trick and not sure if it will work but make sure your emergency brake is all the way up. Used to press it down a couple of notches to keep auto lamp off.

nope sounded like it might have been but i pushed it down and released it a few times with no change. I also noticed when I get out of the truck after turning it off and hit the lock button on the door it chimes 3 times but does not lock until i press it again. All this has been only happening after I got it back from the dealer for the throttle position sensor recall. Im heading back to the dealer to try and plead my case n get it fixed. Because I know it isn't right considering my dads 2013 and my friends 2011 dont do theses things and there parking lamps come on while it is running while using remote start, just like the owners manual states.

Apparently my fuse block under the hood is corroded which is causing all the problems. Coincidentally it happened at the same time. Luckily its an easy fix so I got the part number and am going to fix it myself instead of giving money back to the dealer in case they are the ones that screwed it up and let them make money off me.
