Just picked up my 14 Silverado CC sb, and need a rod holder that will handle my offshore rods for the hour trip to the boat. My avalanche had the slots to slide a 2 by into that had 8 rod holders, it was a pretty solid setup. I need something that can be easily taken out as i will have coolers full of ice behind them in the bed that need to come out along with the other gear for the trip. If i mount something on the bulkhead near the cabin, it would work but then i would need to jump in the bed every time i need to transport them(two to three times a week) which is a pain in the ass. I bought the Fold a Cover G4 that opens in the back and the front so i can travel with the rods sticking out. Just can't seem to find anything that looks decent that doesn't cost $400.00!

Any ideas?
