Gibson exhaust

Ordered the Gibson cat back exhaust, have had it on several other vehicles and like the quality price and sound. Will keep you posted when it arrives. Ordered the split behind the tire rear exit in stainless steel. Past experience has Gibson as being not the loudest but no interior discomfort unless using the side outlets in front of the tire version. This will be my third one with gibson had 5.3 1999 z71 reg cab long bed, 2007 lbz duramax reg cab lond bed 4x4, and now this one crew cab z71 gmc slt. didnt see any reviews of this set up here so if this needs to be moved or consolidated somewhere else feel free.

yes doing it myself do have questions for the other cat back users, third cat gut it or leave alone? and adaptive valve thing cut it out or leave it?

How are you going to leave the adaptive valve, since you purchased a catback?

would just put it back, have all the equip needed at hand. Really over tooled in my garage. Mainly wondering if any have gutted the cat, dont see any reason to put a restriction back into the exhaust (check valve thingy) unless it exhibits drone and that removes it.

So what did you end up thinking about the exhaust. I am looking at getting the Dual Sport that exits behind the rear passenger tire. Don't want any of that crazy v4 stuff I hear about or tons of drone on the highway. I had a flowmaster 44 on my 2004 and loved it. Looking for something somewhat similar. Love the clips I have seen of the Gibson though. Is it loud in the cab with the windows up? I have a baby, so I have to take that and my wife in consideration when looking at the exhaust. Thanks for any info/advice.
