4x2 to 4x4 conversion

Definatly throw a strait axle under it and pick up a ls tranny and transfer case so it has a floor shifter. This route would be the easiest and simple route. You can find front ends in junk yards all day.

Any specific goals or needs? I would guess that you have coil springs up front right? There is not an "Easy" way. It will all be labor intensive and hit the wallet pretty hard

My son in law did one years ago, it was an older chevy,he had to do a body lift to get clearance for the transfer case and shifter. Floor height could be different on 4X2 trucks. plowking
