Any of you see the dragster commercial?

 

Guy says is that a hemi

 

I got a hemi and i bet you aint got one of these hits a button and bang a parachute flys out of the back.  Then he takes off but he doent go anywhere cause his parachute is holding him back

Saw it last night and again tonight.  Pretty funny.  Dodge is coming up with some good truck commercials lately.  About time. I had enough of that terrible Aerosmith song every five minutes during races last year.

 

Call me impartial, but I still like Chevy's no nonsense, down to earth ad campaign the best.  They don't have to run down the competition or brag up their own truck.

Chevys new one with the buffalo ( i think) are running and here comes the 2500HD flying (literally) through the pasture

Any dragster would blow that hemi out of the water, even if the parachute was hanging out the back!!!  And speaking of a 5.7L, I had one, it was in a '95 burb. and could still blow away any dodge today!

 

The chevy and GMC commercials are pretty cool.  I especially like the one about the "fake" Ferd commercials and Sierra that has more hp and torque than the competition and hauls the stuff to shoot the ferd commercials.

I think yall aren't getting the full affect.

 

This commercial is the sequel to the one that came out 6  months ago with the good 'ol boys in the  charger (or whatever it was, couldn't see enoughto determine whatit was ) and drag racing  the guy with  the  charger on the Trailer.

 

The guy that was the  passenger in the charger was the driver of the dragster in this one.

 

You can tell it's the sequel, cause when he pulls up, he says "Hey! Now that thing stillgot a HEMI, right?"

 

I'm not trying tobe a stickler or anything,  it's just an observation.

Yeah, I agree.  The first one I didn't think was that funny, although I know some people thought it was.  This one is better!
