My remote is working intermittently. Put new battery in, no improvement. Took the circuit board out and cleaned the contacts, only a little better. Does anyone know a good source for replacement? When I check on line most are used or aftermarket. Dont have a Chevy dealer around here anymore. Would like to get OEM. 2001 Silvy. Thanks.

I bought brand new OEM fobs from EBAY last week for my wife's G6. They cost me $19 each shipped with brand new batteries. All you need to do is get the part number from the back and search EBAY using that number to get the right one. Make sure that the description indicated OEM not replacement, because they are lower quality than the already lackluster OEM units.

Looked there last night. Couldnt find OEM. Found a online dealer in Ohio, they charge $55.00 plus shipping. Outrageous.

Thanks for checking. Cannot access ebay at work-blocked. Guess if I cant get this one to work $50 is the price. I took this one apart again-cleaned everything. When I leave today I will find out if it worked.
