Nice car, always miss a car when I fill up the truck! My brother has a '13 Golf R and has spent a few thousand on upgrades, is putting down 480HP at the wheels. AWD with race gas, it will snap your neck, expensive to run, but fun!

I thought about a used Golf R but if I was to go AWD, I would have then looked heavily into a STi or Evo.

I do miss it, a lot! Try not to talk about it much in the house hold, wife gets very upset lol, more than I!!!

Sorry, I forgot to add. It is the DSG auto. I wanted a manual sooooo bad but the wife is tripping about us going to England and driving it over there on the wrong side of the road and being she never learned before,but, like I said before, I researched the DSG vs Manual and its a 50/50 split between all. That and the DSG can handle the K04 turbo upgrade, I think its over 450hp/tq it can handle, the manny needs to be upgraded after stage 2, upper 200's lower 3's. It's also faster 0-60 and so on. It took A LOT for me to justify this over a manual lol, but I do not regret it one bit! It shifts so fast, you almost don't know it being dual clutch, and sport mode, thing is wild when using paddle shifters lol. Can't wait to get it tuned, I'm thinking of ordering an intake for it soon, forums say the stock box is very restrictive and an intake wakes it up! After that will be exhaust and tune but that might be a few months down the road.

I was thinking about it. Definitely don't want to leave y'all since I will be getting a truck when I return stateside. I'm actually thinking of an intake soon so I think I'll start with factory pics then so on. Something I wish I would have done with my old truck.
