running boards

hi. i have googled, searched and come up mt. can anyone tell me if 6" oval boards off a 2010 Sierra bolt up to a 2006 Sierra ? both crew cabs, i haven t measured the mounting brackets and the frame mounts yet, but i don t want to make an hour drive to find out they wont work, the price is right and they appear to be factory boards, but not sure til i see them in person , any help would be appreciated.

Didja try finding a place that sells them online and see if the part numbers were compatible with both rigs? I bought some after market bars that would work on either generation. (Dont buy solely on my last statement, they are cheapo bars.) Just my two pennies worth.

yes. called a gm deale, 99-06 are the same then 07-12 are the same, some aftermarkets work from 1999-2013 but i don t want to spend $700 on boards right now, just looking for a cheap pair or used ones.
