Ya I would but don't have time to leave the truck as I work out of town and need a truck. Usually ask here first then all else fails dealer when I have time. Will be scared to keep this truck past 3 yrs 60k with all these electrical problems. So far just inconvenient.

Mine just quit working tonight. Going into dealership tomorrow for vibration, puff of smoke when starting and the blue tooth cutting off during calls. I am going to have them look at the back up camera as well. I will let you know what they say about it.

Interesting to hear. I have a new 14 and the camera hasn't worked yet. Not sure but may not have this set up right?? I see the guide lines but no picture. Any ideas anyone? Truck has 200 miles on it. Thanks

On my 2011 the camera plugs into the wire harness behind the tailgate in the center (under near the spare tire). When you remove the tailgate you have to disconnect it (obviously). Check that it is plugged in. If the dealer did any spray liners or other bed work it might have never been reconnected.

NORMAL?

Nope, even though it started working again today, they found a bulletin that told them to update the mylink software and the ecu software. They were doing that when I left this evening in a loaner. They have to call the tech service line tomorrow about the vibration and the puff of smoke.

I wish you luck on these two items, but chances are they will call the puff of smoke normal operation.

Yep its from the direct injection. There's a post about it somewhere.

Just a quick update. Took the panel of the tail gate and there was the wire coiled up. Not plugged in at all. Probably never was. Makes you wonder what quality control GM has?? I ran the wire plugged it in and all good now.
