2014 GMC Sierra ( how do I turn on lights under bedrail?)

Bed lights work but nothing lights up when I hit any of the 4 toggle switches in that area. Traction control, bed lights, foot pedal adjustments, or the downhill decent (I think that's what it's called). A few things light up on the dash though with a few of them.

I took my truck to the local Line-X guys who fabricate electrical systems for the ARE fiberglass caps. He said he could mount a flicker button for off and on activity and mount it under the left or right side of the lip on the bottom of the side panels. That way, I could manually cut it on from the back of the truck. It is wired directly into a battery hot lead so the key does not need to be in the ignition and it would not affect the internal system that is located inside the vehicle on the control bar. It took him less than an hour and it was done.
