Do you by chance know how Atomic's comparable 12" sub compares to a Planet Audio Zetar 12" sub... I am looking at one of the two, the Atomic will be $20 cheaper, but, I want to make sure it is as good, my friend who has the Zetar is going to try an Atomic, and compare them, but that isn't for another 1-2 months, and I am just curious...

I used to be a Planet Audio dealer, not familiar with the model you are reffering to, but I was not impressed with them either. Although PA's 6.5" Coaxial is excellent for the price, it is the only thing I still order regularly.

Well, I know for sure the planet audio zetar sounds bad a$$, with just one twelve and a 500 watt amp pushing it, if my scanner was working I would show you the booklet I got, but here are a few of the specs:

peak handling power: 750W

power handling continuous: 375W

frequency response: 12-250Hz

efficiency:94DB

impedence: dual 2 Ohm

magnet structure: 120 Oz

mounting depth: 7 1/8"

Like I said I have personally heard it hooked up to a 500W amp, and before the Zetar, the guy had a 12" JL audio, this Zetar puts the JL to shame...
