newbie first full size and tranny issues

Hey there this is my first full size. Ive owned four S trucks a 1990 S-10 pickup short box 5spd no pwr steering Iron duke 4 cyl, 93 Jimmy 4dr 4.3 tbi 94 blazer 4dr LT Tahoe Edition 4.3 Vortec and 1999 Bravada. 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE 2WD 4.8 L 4l60E runs ok except it just started shifting funny unless you **** foot it of drive it alittle on the rough side i got it cheap i have just got one of those warrantys it was active 4-19-14 and the truck just started acting up yesterday it sounds loud out side like the power steering pump is empty but its not and i took the Serp belt off and its still there and inside the truck i can hear what sound tobe a vaccum leak maybe but no lights on in the dash idles fine someone have any input what should i do and with the warranty do i just bring it in and play dumb ive never had a warrenty and it was only 50 per month and covers everything the factory warranty covered including interior electrical which is a plus with these trucks as my dads had a few.

I'd definitely bring it in and play dumb.. I'm sure everyone else will chime in with possible ideas for you though.

Nice with your 90 s10. I had an 89 model el. Work truck, iron duke, 5 speed, regular cab, short bed, no power steering. I loved that truck. As.for your 03, my 04 started with the 4.8 and I liked it. As Josh said, you paid for the warranty so use it.
