Changing Fuel Filter Recommendations?

how to release the pressure?

 

loosen the lines and look the other way. :rolleyes:  After the pSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTT is done its ok to look again.

 

I got a facefull of gas.  Not very good.  At least i had glasses on so i didnt get it in my eyes

 

Theres a website (bookmarked at home) on how to change the fuel filter.  Ill post it later this afternoon when i get home.

Mountaineer Tom has the ticket.  Just remember to lay off to the side of the truck, the higher side like on the back side that way what ever gas runs down the frame rail toward the cab will not drip on you.  A catch pan is a good idea also.

 

I installed a Hastings filter on mine. It was easy for me to purchase but Auto Zone and places like that have good filters.
