So I have this random line hanging down and I traced it to two points

The short end of the y splitter goes to the to of the transmission and the capped end went into engine bay and long end was dangling.

Also found another bare line coming from Trans or differential not sure.

Question is is the y splitter right ? Anyone got a diagram of all the Trans vaccum or vents

I think there should be vents from both differentials, the transfer case and the transmission. Obviously the rear diff won't be coming all the way up front.

Do the vents go to anything or are they just hoses that dangle and are just there. I have no reference but black and white bs old pics I found on google with dotted lines an crap I can't even begin to understand what goes where lol

Anyone got pics of what these lines are supposed to look like and run

 

Is there any vaccum line that goes into the engine or intake from the transmission

If I remember right, those go to the transfer case vent line and front diff vent line. They are supposed to end up by the battery.

All wrong . That vent end goes top of bell housing mount bolt, the little bit of hose at the Y goes to top centre of transmission, the last open end goes to the t case at top dvrs side

Front diff vent starts above the fill hole and goes straight up not to far ,

 

Rear diff vent goes all the way to the fuel fill hose area

Oh yes, that's right, i got my vent lines all mixed up. put them back on or driving through water will make your wallet sad.
