Speaker wiring delimma

I have sound built in to my house. There are speakers built into the ceilings of my living room, front porch, and back patio. I would like speakers in the garage. I don't necessarily need them built in, but the receiver is in the living room and there is no attic entrance to above the garage. I have the house networked also with all the cables feeding to the garage. Is there a way to convert the speaker wires to Cat 5e to run through the existing infrastructure and then before the speakers, convert them back to standard speaker wire?

Edit: I want to keep the RJ45 connections until it is time to connect to speakers. are there converter boxes for this?

For line level, possible.

For speaker level, highly doubtful due to the voltage/current drop across the small gauge thin net wiring.

What about a wireless solution and an amp in the garage?
