DDM Tuning issues, opinions requested

Thanks for the response Mike, I did get my headlight kit tested and installed today. All is well with them. I have not gotten a chance to check the second half that are going into the fog lights yet, maybe during the week I'll have some time.

 

I didn't have the relay harness or any type of capacitor in my 2011 Silverado, so when I turned the lights off today and they stayed on I was like "oh crap, did I wire them wrong" they I realized the capacitors were there and they shut off a few seconds later haha.

 

Now if I can just get the stupid dealership to sell me a plug to wire my bed lighting into the factory plug I will be set. Didn't feel like splicing wires on the truck I bought (I spliced all kinds of shit on the lease I had though!)

I bought from DDM one time, worst customer service and products. Never again will I buy from them.

I lost one ballast on my DDM kit after about a year.

I'm having start up problems occasionally with my TRS kit. I had a bulb go a couple months ago. The remaining original bulb is weak and barely puts out what a halogen puts out. I'm not convinced their product is any better than anyone else's now. I'm going to put a OEM Lexus projector with OEM Toyota ballasts and Osram bulbs in my truck next. Hopefully, real OEM quality parts will make it more reliable. I don't feel my current setup is reliable enough to go on trips without worry.

If everyone has such a problem with shipping times from ordering ddm parts online, why don't you just call their warehouses that are in America and order their kits. I had my error correctors in a week from Nevada. Seems like common sense....
