Why is is when you pull up to the speakers they always ask if you want a certain item.  No I do not.  If I wanted that item I would order it.  Can someone tell me that has worked at one of these places why they do this.

add on sales account for more than regular sales

 

Like when you go to a home improvement store (menards) we were told when they buy wood make sure they have screws/nails/stain/paint and the list goes on

 

Next time say "If i wanted a &^$$ drink i would have ordered one"

At the local taco bell as opposed to saying some sales pitch they play a recording and all joking aside it is close to a minute long some times.  I went to order food and it was so long that I almost forgot what I was going to order.  You know it's a recording because when the person talks it usually ends up being a man as opposed to a woman on the recording.

i know that recording. me and a couple friends kind of went off on it once. till a real person came on to take our order. then we forgot what we wanted and that took another 10 mins and a mile long line of cars. oh well, stupid recording was annoying.

Thank goodness we don't have that problem up here.  The few times i've been down south thou man, specially near the border I can't understand anything they say man.
