08 silverado misfire

I have an 08 4.6l v8 ext cab silverado that misfires cylinder 4 I changed wires spark plug and ignition coil and still the check engine light is on, it had came on and off since I got it impish I g 183000 miles everything with the truck is great Does anyone know the cause and was this a recall also, like I said my truck is in great condition besides this. I've looked online seems like a common problem but no answers on what is wrong. [email protected]

Have you had any codes pulled? Seems to me the codes may help direct you to the problem. If it were me and I changed the plug and wire, I would swap the coil with one from another cylinder and see if the misfire moved, if so, then I would replace that coil. That should solve the problem.

dirty/bad injector..run a couple cans of Seafoam in the gas tank and see if it clears up..always start with the cheep things first about $20
