Ran my 2012 CC Silverado w/6.2

I bought a G-Tech PRO RR Performance meter and after fine tuning it as needed according to the manual, I have ran 3 consecutive runs back to back all in the low 13 sec range (13.221, 13.327, 13.541) 0-60 on each was around 5 sec marks my 1/8 mile showed mid to high 8 second marks.

Also recorded my RWHP at 409 and RWTQ at 422

This was all done around where I live on a back country road (flat) with no wind blowing and early in the AM.

Truck is now having both engine mounts replaced (under warranty) and am not sure if one was already broken when I ran these times or if they broke during my runs? LOL !

Had heard good reviews on this performance meter and that as long as you insure its setup correctly and the conditions are right that it is pretty accurate. If so my truck seems to be hauling ass for a CC PU truck.

Open for any other thoughts on other opinions and experiences with same meter (G-Tech Pro RR)

Also no reply's on me not running it on a track as I took many precautions where I did run it and frankly I don't care to hear it.

Thanks,

I think most people on this site like to light them up once in a while when the conditions are right, just don't want to say it out loud. If some one happens to be along side just make sure your tailgate is clean cause that's what they'll see.

I shared my opinion on that matter already and didn't make many friends.

I don't mean to pick on you.

Just curious why you guys spend so much money and time for tunes and hardware to make your trucks faster and end up running the truck on some back roads with gps or what ever to get numbers?

Why not spend the extra buck and go to a racetrack to get REAL results?

I would like to know for sure what my truck is capable of.

I have access to a track in Bay town, TX, my neighbor takes his Vett (2010 ZO6) there. I work odd hours and never have the time to make it on Friday which is the only day to run your personal vehicle.

But when I do get a chance I now have a better ideal on how I might do when I do go.

So I guess it comes down to a personal reason i pick a very secluded back road to experiment with what mods I have added to my vehicle. That's all. Just a personal reason and a piece of mind knowing I can.
