Block Heater

Decided adding a block heater wouldn't be a bad idea for the HD.  Well after realizing that GM must have the most horrible engineering team in the word, while installing the heater in a plug located right next to the oil filter, under two tranny lines and right behind the frond drive line.  I used it a few times as in is 6 degrees here.  Plugged it in came out the next day no heat in the motor, well not enought to register on the sending unit.  Started pretty much the same and heated up the same.  So as a word of advise don't waste the money because I don't think it works, in fact I'm considering not even using it.  I would take it out but it would take another weekend so screw it..
