this is old GM technology

from 10 years ago.

Cadillac used it first on its XLR model in 2004.

Yes ok. but this isn't a Cadillac were talking about chief. This is a GMC.

they keep updating the magnetic ride technology, so it's not like they are throwing on a 10yr old design. That said, its on the denali suv's and most reviews I have read have said they dont really like the magnetic ride on the suv. They say it is an awesome setup on all the cars GM has put it on, but it just isnt as magical on the yukon, maybe it will be good on the truck though. I cant say either way as i havent driven a car with the magnetic shocks so maybe the mags that are doin the reviews are just haters, lol.

GM makes both Cadillac

And Gmc trucks

i Know but it isnt a 10 year old design going into these new trucks GMC trucks. The MRC has been improved upon since its first use. Not to mention there is no way a MRC put into a car would have very much in common with what is being put into a fullsize pickup truck. totally different suspensions.

Cell phones are more than 10 year old technology you think people will stop talking about the iphone? and Androids?

it might ride better, I can guarantee it will make shock replacement much harder and more expensive.

My 06 escalade had some electronic shocks up front and air in the back. I replaced them once...over 1K. It rode better with the new shocks, previous were 7 yrs old. My new Denali rides much better than that escalade ever did.
