But, in this case was Oregon pin stripes. Daughter and grandson wanted me to drive them 2 1/2 miles up an old mining road so they could check out some old mine portals another 1/2 mile up and then just walk back to the cabin. Finally able to see how our '06 HD did in 4-low on some two-point turn switch backs.

Figured I would have some scratches and sure enough. I did a search on scratch removal here and Adams and Meguiars 105 came up.

No Adams product in Idaho for what I could see after I checked their site. Familiar with Meguiars, but wondering about 3M products? Scratches are not deep, but more like rubs on the clear coat. Would like to get them knocked out this weekend while the truck is clean.

M105 is great to remove scratches. That is my go to product.

If it's good enough for you, good enough for me then. Will just stick with the M105. Have you used the 42 Rubber Treatment (might be an old #)? Says it will work on mat rubber and plastic and not give it the wet look. Still have two bottles from my auto parts days.

The M105 did the trick. I used a product called Perfect Plastic (Permatex product) on the tail light lense rubs that I had laying around. REALLY got the job done. Somebody wants her Tahoe detailed now....
