aluminum wheels corroding.

I have an 04 Sierra 2500HD slt. The slt has the factory polished aluminum wheels and they are all horribly pitted and look like crap. The clear coat is pealing off and I'm pretty fed up with looking at it. I am considering painting them or repolishing them and want to know what others have done with theirs. The truck is an uncommon color, the deep forest green, and the polish looks great but black or gray might look nice too. I need some input here!!

 

Also if anyone has recommendations for repolishing kits or methods please let me know.

There are people who can usually clean them up for you and re-coat them. Check at your local aftermarket wheel sources, ask around to see who does the best work

Don't put wheel weights on the wheels they will tear the clearcoat up
