5.3 flex stock to street rod

Looking to upgrade my 2004 stock 5.3 looking at doing rear end gear upgrade torque converter and shift kit, later throttle body, injectors and exhausted no cats I'm in indiana,

 

Looking at different gear sets and got the 3.42, can't decide between the 3.73&4.11 how much top end will I loose with the 4.11 will I gain much with the3.73

 

Any advice would be appreciated and websites to order parts I currently am using rockauto

What is your goal with the truck?

Wanting to hit the street legal drag strip not really concerned with maintaining my top end speed

Go with 4.10 gears then. Top end won't be effected much.

im about to install a

COMP Cams XFI AFM GM Gen V Camshafts 656-421-13 will it run with out pcm tuning. in a 09 silverado 5.3 without the cam phaser

I would think any change in cam will require tuning...

Have to tune for the cam and it may need a stall converter

wouldnt you think a few more questions are in order to give the OP decent advise? like is the truck a 2wheel drive or 4x4 or what cab configuration? Any mods? what gas you want to run? budget ?tire size. what are your goals was good to ask,
