I have noticed my exhaust smoking at startup and it's 75 degrees in the morning. I have video for the dealer and don't know if this is normal or not. I have never owned a gm vehicle so didn't know if this is common or if I need to take it in. It seems to do it every morning and this morning it was a longer duration than I've noticed. Truck is a 5.3 reg cab

Normal for the new DI engines, part of the enrichment process to aid in start up.

Yep. 100% normal. Mine does it too, as will all these new DI engines. Should just be a quick puff on start up.

But if the smoke is lasting longer than a few seconds....there might be a larger issue.

Was it black smoke for 30 seconds or was it just white vapor/steam?

Then are you sure it's not just steam/vapor?

The hot exhaust gases passing through the "cold" exhaust system will create condensation and steam. The aluminum that makes up the exhaust piping is going from "cold" to hot, relatively fast.
