Why? The factory intake is cold air. I understand there are gains with replacing the tube but the airbox is good and the airfilter plenty big.

 

People get caught up in assuming decades old standard mods always translate into a good idea on newer stuff. In a lot of areas there is a LOT less room for improvement from OEM
