'14 Silverado Bose Speaker blown?

Barely had the truck 3 months and the passenger door speaker rattles on bass, almost as if its blown. Did not seem to do this until recently.

 

Does chevy cover that? I honestly do not abuse the stereo at all..

More than likely covered under warranty, just make sure your bass isn't absurdly cranked up on your sound settings. FYI, I thought I had the same problem going on until I checked and found some change in the passenger side door panel....

they should not say anything if the bass is all the way up. gm is the one who set the bass limit, so if their limit still blew the speaker then shame on them.

Take it in, they'll replace it. But white-stallion is right, if the speakers couldn't handle the bass all the way up...they wouldn't give us the option to turn it up that far.

That's what "bumper to bumper" coverage is for.

Just put you're bass down to mid when you bring it in if youve got a dealer that would accuse you of that and tell them thats where its always been....
