Professional grade?

Can someone explain what does "professional grade" mean when applied to these GM trucks? I just watched a commercial telling everyone to hurry to their GMC dealer and step up to the "Professional Grade". All I see so far is a professional grade sticker price. Not so professional grade quality and reliability.

Professional grade should normally imply commercial like sturdiness and reliability. As it is, it seems to be just a meaningless advertising slogan.

I was seriously considering upgrading to a new GM truck, but I cannot see myself going through what some owners are going through. Until GM eliminates these problems and shows that they are serious about quality, I will stay with what I have or look elsewhere.

Yea its really just a marketing slogan. GMC is just an upscale version of a comparable Chevrolet.
