Remote Keyless Entry/Starter Help

Hey guys,just got my first truck yesterday, a 2014 GMC Sierra, V8, Crew Cab, 6 foot 6 box, coming from a small 2 door kia forte koup, im very impressed, beautiful truck, don't think i can ever go back to a car again lol.

anyways my question is this, my truck didn't come with a remote entry or even power mirrors (its 2014 wtf, lol) so im stuck using the key, not a big deal but a simple luxury i would like to have, the dealer said i may be able to get a aftermarket one, so i did some research and im not sure how easy it is, some trucks may not be able to get them because of the computers inside the truck, not 100% on this, so anyway i was hoping someone could shed some light on this for me and help me out, if i could get a remote starter/keyless entry 2 in 1 i would prefer that, if you need specific info about my truck just ask, like i said i think its just a base model, they were calling it a "work truck model" not sure what thats all about, but on the registration it says 2014 gmc sierra 1500, nothing after indicating a trim level so i assume its the base model.

If you have power locks, any good tint or audio shop can add remote start and remote entry. Expect 500.00 or so.

Thanks, i ended up calling my dealer again and the parts guy told me he put in a special order for a remote start/keyless entry, going to cost about 230 plus tax and installation.

There is nothing wrong with the work truck model. I have had the Silverado version before. You got what counts the most. V8. Its all good from there. Don't let these "RICH" guys and their ,ahem... leather and pothole searching 22s make you jealous. I would trade you my dual climate zone hvac controls for your Red=warm, blue =cool any day of the week. I swear my air conditioner is possessed. Now where are the pics?

There is nothing wrong with the work truck model. I have had the Silverado version before. You got what counts the most. V8. Its all good from there. Don't let these "RICH" guys and their ,ahem... leather and pothole searching 22s make you jealous. I would trade you my dual climate zone hvac controls for your Red=warm, blue =cool any day of the week. I swear my air conditioner is possessed. Now where are the pics?

Thanks ! I love the truck and wouldn't trade it for anything right now, its exactly what I need, all the fancy features i couldn't care less for tbh, i wouldn't use half of them anyway, i don't have a pic yet but later when i go for a drive ill take a nice one for my profile pic, im actually having some trouble getting the hood up -_- i feel the latch but i cant budge it i think it may be jammed

The latch inside under dash or outside? just drive by any dealer before they close. They can assist.

the one under the hood, the hood doesn't come up much i can barely get my fingers under it, i do feel something and i know your supposed to push it to the right and lift up the hood but it does not budge, i will probably drop by the dealership tomorrow

so apparently my dealer had a remote starter/keyless entry ordered for me yesterday, calls me back today and said that their is no receiver in my truck for that, so i would need to go full aftermarket, any suggestions?
