Replacing 40/20/40 console with full console on 2014 LT 1500

Hi guys. I'd like to replace the center console section on my 2014 LT model with the full console from the LTZ model and I'm having a hard time finding any information on the feasibility on doing this. My dealer is telling me that I cannot do this without changing seats and major expenses. Anyone know if this can this be done without replacing the seats, etc and how the outcome would look/fit? Thanks!

there's a thread with full details and pictures on how to do it, search for it. Also your dealer doesn't know what they are talking about.
