Well, We found out where not to be for the evening run. Watched a lot of guys take a lot of doves. I managed to get 2. the only 2 that came our way. Next week I'll be in better position. No pic.. I know... 2 doves on a tailgate looks too lonely..

I went to Yuma and had a great shoot. Lots of Eurasians and plenty of whitewings. Eurasians are year round and unlimited in AZ and this year, in CA too. We shot over on the AZ side and there were great moments in dove shooting.

I shoot the Eurasians year round, they are a pest here. I never even went dove hunting this year though. They don't seem to be flying much because of the cooler weather.

My opinion of the Eurasian dove is that they're a better game bird all around. They have a pink meat and are half again larger that a mourning dove and about twice the size of a white wing.

Went out Monday night and Tuesday morning. got 5 more. The mourning dove were the most common here as well. The white wings have been about 1 in 10. Tuesday morning I saw and shot the first eurasian collard. That thing left a crater when it hit. My friend about 100 yards away, when it hit said "that sounds like a eurasian" almost double the size of mourning. And same here, no bag limit or season.
