Hello from Iowa

Hello im a farm boy from a small town in iowa, ive been working on chevys my whole life, my first truck was a 79 4x4 with a 350 and 4spd with granny low, nice truck when i bought it but being 16 and having a pretty awesome truck it didnt last long before i tore the rear end out pulling a buddy out of the ditch, with no money and time i traded it for a 70 chevy c10 with same drive train but 2wd. i recently got my project done as its a 98 k2500, it was in a roll over but didnt mess top up to bad, was able to pop out with a slide hammer and the frame wasnt tweeked, it was white before and it is black now, has the 350 vortec that has seen better days but im slowly pepping it up, when i got it, it had a bent flex plate, water pump was hand tight, and the harmonic balancer fell off, yes i said fell off while it was running, how the heck does that happen? anyhow a new one and some red locktite ensured that wouldnt happen again. all in all i know a thing or two and i want to learn a thing or two, hope im of service to you and im happy to be here.
