swapping a 6.0 in a 2001 gmc with a 2006 6.0 questions

I've got a 2001 GMC 3500 that has a weak 6.0 so I just bought a good 6.0 out of a wrecked 2006 truck. What do I need to change on the new engine to make it work in my 2001 GMC? I read where I can change intakes to make the swap easier but I'd rather keep my old engine together and sell it complete and use everything I can on the new one if possible.
