Bought Tahoe Z71 Last Night

Well, guys, I'm keeping with my Chevrolet tradition.  Last night I traded my 1997 Chevrolet C1500 truck in on a Black 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71.  The wife has been wanting an SUV for quite sometime and for as long as I can remember I have been wanting a Black Tahoe so last night the stealer wanted to deal and we drove it home.  It is a Z71 so pretty much all the options are there...leather, nerf bars, tinted windows, towing package, 5.3L V-8, heated mirrors (will the power folding mirrors fit and work???), rear liftgate, 17" Z71 rims, etc.  As options is does have a bug shield, speed grille insert, and chrome gas and brake pedals.  I don't know if I particularily care for any of the three options so if anybody wants to trade for stock, I would probably be up for it (wife permitting of course ;) ).  But, it drives great except for pulling to the left.  I am taking it back this afternoon and they are aligning it for free (I probably paid for that somewhere).  I have the picture that is on the dealer's website and I will try to post it but I have never posted a picture before so I don't know if it will work.  In any case, I will take some pictures soon and post them when I get a chance.

NICE ride... Congratulations on the new Hoe.  I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I've had my 2000 Yukon for nearly 3 years and 50K miles, and I still love driving it.

Nice,

I love mine.

I wanted black, but the wife wanted pewter. Guess who won?

Post a good pic of the grill, I may be interested.\

Thanks for all the congratulations guys!  I really appreciate it.

dukbludvl: I'm the same way with our 2000 Silverado.  It was the wife's but I drove it every chance I got.  Now it will be mine (since the wife of course gets the Tahoe) and I can't wait to drive it everyday.  I'm sure we will feel the same way about the Tahoe when we get to know it.

toddoughty: My guess would be the wife won and you ended up with the Pewter...doesn't the wife always win?  As soon as I get the chance to take some pictures and post them I will.  I don't have a digital camera though so it might be a little while.  Plus I have to learn how to setup my webspace with Road Runner and then I can post some pics.

clk7711: Yes, it is a Texas dealer.  I live in the Houston area and Bill Heard Chevrolet is in Sugarland (a suberb of Houston).

Thanks again guys!  GM-TC is the greatest!  :thumb:
