ICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got off work at 6am this morning. I just got home 10 minutes ago. Had about 2 inchs of ice all over my truck. I let the truck warm up for about 45-60 minutes before I started to scrap the ice off. Ended up breaking 2 ice scapers. Shoes, coat, shirt, pants, and me soaked to the bone with wayer and ice. Its still dropping ice pellets right now. Good thing for that 4wheel drive, other wise I wouldnt of been able to get out of the parking lot. I had 6 inchs of ice piled up against all 4 tires. I had to drive 3 guys I work with home, because they couldnt get thier cars out of the ice shell. All of us had to climb in from the pass. side, because the drivers side had the majority of ice on it. I had to stop 5 times to clean the mirrors off. This night/morning really sucked.

Good thing you made it home safe. You should've just turned on those daylighters and melted the ice off of everyone's cars

I was thinking about it. But, didnt want to. They live pretty close to me, so I didnt mind driving them home. Although, I do have to take them to work tonight if they dont get thier cars out by then. I was also thinking of making some sort of flame thrower to melt the ice

i had to climb in my truck the same as you. it took me 20mins to scrap the ice.

Yep, we got a good bit of ice here in Salina as well. Now I like snow, but not this ice/snow crap. They have the roads cleaned up pretty good by now though, so no major problems getting around if you know how to drive in winter weather.
