Hi,

 

I currently own a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro SS and I am considering trading for this exact pickup in the photo ive included here.

 

The dealer has made me a killer deal, no money down, payments remain the same.

 

I am 55 and tired of crawing in and out of Muscle Cars and I would like some feedback on this truck. It has a 5.3 V8, my Camaro has the LS3 so it will be quite a drop in power but this is a very sharp truck that I would be happy with.

 

Please let me know your thoughts, good, bad and the ugly!

Thank you...I still havent gotten may replies, I dont guess too many people like the Rally Model Silverado...lol

Thanks for the reply. I dont think I will miss the extra power, the SS has 426hp, the Silverado has 355 with the 5.3 and I will add a cold air intake which will give me 10-15hp and I dont do any speeding to speak of, I mainly just putt around but I do like a V8 anytime over a V6.

I was gonna saw if you think you'll miss the power you could go with a 6.2 but thats not available in the rally package. I think its a good lookin package overall, black wheels aren't my favorite but these are pretty decent looking.

Yea ive done bought it and they are gonna deliver it to me on Tuesday. They had a black on black Rally 2 but that was way too much black for me but I do like this red with the black wheels. Im excited to get it!!...Whats a good bed cover that fits inside the bed rails thats not way over priced?

yeah black on black seems a bit pointless to me, dont personally have a cover, but if you search for covers on here there are lots of topics on what people have.

Lot's on covers in there. As for a quick easy cheaper one, either the Truxedo lo=pro or loredo access are great, reputable soft roll ups.

 

As for the rally edition, I like them. If they had the 6.2l, I would love them...
