problem on my '03

[02 2500 Avalanche]

Well today I went out and started my mom's '03 z71 tahoe, I revved it after a min and brought it up to about 5k. After I did this the engine light came on. We went out and I thought nothing of the light because the truck ran fine. When we shut it off and took the key out of the ignition it kept runing for about 10 seconds. It is not cutting the spark so I know it is a problem with the PCM because the PCM controls the spark. Any idea what would cause this? Thanks

I've bounced my 6.0L of the rev limiter in "P" before and not had a problem...  Most definatly a computer problem that the dealer will have to reset.
