But here's my quick review of the license plate

Does it mess with camera?

It will not mess with it if you don't have a giant hutch on like mine. It made some shadows on my hitch but no green on the back up camera.

Is it super incredible and I think that everyone and their grandparents should rush to get one?

No, while it helps it's not super exciting or special. I think 2 pods under the rear bumper will help more but this does do a good job. Especially if you are working by the back of the truck

Do I feel this was worth the $125 ($150 after pre-order session is over)?

Yes I do feel that it was money well spent.

Would I recommend it to someone?

Yes if you are looking to add some extra light with a clean, no real obvious add on kind of look

Would u buy it again?

Yes

So to summarize, no mess ups with camera (in my opinion), it does help, it's not super amazing but for its size, yes it is very nice and strong. I would get it again if I were to do it over again, I got the 5K color and it matches all the other lights on the truck! So that's a good bonus to me(:

I've heard that the backup camera in these trucks dont get along well with LED light. Makes the screen look green or something. I don't have any LEDs in the back so I cant confirm.

I added LED backup lights on my 2011 and there was barely any difference. The camera seems to get the majority of its light from the parking/brake lamps.

Okay so I still can't upload any pics. It keeps saying I have an error. I've tried turning off my phone and turn back on, and deleting and re-downloading app. Nothing working. If anyone has suggestions on what to try next let me know!

Okay so main reason I am posting here:

I was at a haunted house tonight and when I went to unlock my truck to leave I realized this little light bar puts out a lot more than I originally thought. It actually was throwing light all the way to a building 75 yards away. From the outside it was a fair amount of light. But of course from inside with tinted windows it didn't look like much.

VLED LPF output pics

Also I want to say that the LPF does not mess with the camera like the picture makes it look. For whatever reason I can not get an accurate picture of the camera view. It looks normal, just some extrea light, but no new marks or green spots like some have reported when adding aux reverse lights.

I had the old version on previous truck and it was super helpful backing out my 800' driveway in the dark.
The new model arrived yesterday and I did a test fit and it seems as good if not better than previous with regards to output. It didn't mess with my camera.

I haven't mounted permanently yet but will do so over the weekend.

For me it was money well spent. I couldn't see a thing backing up at night with stock lights.

The LPF is good for me cause I didn't want to hang led's under the bumper or cut into it to mount them. Was a simple cheap solution that works.
The last one I had held up 2 years and I can tell you it had its share of kicks getting into the bed or backups into snow piles so it was worth the money. I assume this one will be as well.

Sounds like you live where street lights are sparse so youd probably be able to get some really accurate output pics. Mind posting some up?

That is an understatement. The closest street light in my neighborhood is 5 miles away at the entrance/exit to the parkway. The rest of the area is moonlight only. I should have it mounted/wired this weekend. Happy to provide output pics. I may even be able to find the old one for a comparison but no promises.
