Im looking at buying a set of tires that came off a 2010 Toyota Tacoma. the tires are General Altimax Artic size 265 65 R17. Bolt Pattern 6 hole X 139.7mm (5.5 inch). Im wondering if the difference in the offsets are going to cause me problems. Thanks

Are you buying just the tires or the wheels as well? Bolt pattern matches but I would be worried about the center bore of the wheel. As far as I know, GM wheels are hub centered. If you put the Toyota wheels on they are lug centered on a GM. There will be a gap around the center of the hub. We had a customer loose a wheel once, he had FJ Cruiser steel wheels on his truck for winter and one worked itself loose.

yeah i was going to buy the tires and rims, so you think with the difference in the size of the center bore, all the weight will be on the lugs only?

I can't speak to the wheel issue but I have been running General Altimax Artic studded tires on my GMC for 3 winters now and they are great winter tires for the ice/wet ice we get almost daily.
