Console Question

Hello. I've been reading through the forums but I can not find this specific question. I would like to swap out the jump seat for an LT2 style (or similar) full center console on my 02 Sierra. Are there any newer consoles that fit directly or with little modification? I am new to vehicle mods and am not confident enough to do any major modification. Thanks in advance!

my understanding is 99-2006 will all fit. do you currently have the fold down jump seat or fixed?

I currently have a jump seat but I am looking for a fixed console.

99-02 only. Because the 03-07 classic connect to the dash differently

I was also wanting to do this. I know the newer style console is a little widerso the glove box panel shorter in length. Would have to replace that and console. Doing all that, because it's a solid console, I believe the floor bolts for the seat alone would hold it in place. Also would have to remove the door covering outlets and ashtray because it's taller. To make it look factory would also have to replace dash bezel with 03 and up because it's taller, but you would also need radio bucket. I think it's definitely in the realm of possibilities. If anyone else has any input it would greatly be appreciated.
