Power steering

Recommended Posts

I have 2 lines from my power steering. I went to get new hoses to replace the leaky ones and was asked if my pump is hydrostatic....

And I have no idea and there is no mention in the manual.

Also, what had 11" drums ? Was it the 3/4 ton? Fairly sure mine are 10" but I'll have to measure.

All for my lovely 95 k1500.

10" drums on my rig

The power steering was not hydrostatic. I had to bring in the bad hose to figure that out.

New trans, hoses, alternator, tires... expensive. Still cheaper than a new truck!
