It was new truck time! My wife's Camaro has OnStar and it's a very handy tool to keep track of how the car is doing. The OnStar app was added to my cell phone and before I left the dealership my new GMC was also added to the OnStar. I was wondering how may of you use the OnStar app and all of the features it has? I like the remote lock / unlock / start, and NAV features and as I've stated before it's a nice way to keep track of your truck.

I mess around with the app a bit but if the folks at GM put a little bit more effort into it would be cool if the link to the dealer had your maintenance history in and maybe provide a spot to record all your fill-ups etc. It's ok but I think they may be missing the boat in some areas.

Nope, not interested in anything OnStar has to offer. I didn't even activate the free trial when I bought the truck.

I started using it on my 2011 as soon as I got home. I don't fly as much now but before when I did almost weekly I'd start the truck from baggage claim when it's cold out so it'd be nice and toasty inside when I got to it and drove home.

not worth the price , phone has better nav. remote works for 5 years once you use it one time , triple a is a lot cheaper for road side assistance , heard a lot of complaints about getting assistance though onstar . played with it a little bit I can't see where it would be worth the price

Not worth the time or money. If you have any issues, its almost impossible to get through to talk to anyone or a reply from onstar. But amazingly you'll get a hundred emails and texts about pricing..
