Smartphone Mirroring from GM-Navigation

Just thought of something. The Chromecast may not work as it needs a WiFi connection to mirror.

One theory I have on Chromecast, it works best if the display digital HDMI port is capable of CEC Ethernet 2-way communication, so even if you can pair it with your Galaxy 6, I don't think there is a HDMI to Composite down converter that can follow that protocol to the MyLink, as it's inputs are analog.

Has anyone been able to mirror their phone on a 2016 GMC Terrain? I tried android auto but not working only saying that i dont have music downloaded on phone. i want to use my navigation on phone

You would have to upgrade to the HMI 2.5 for Android Auto.
