display issue with aftermarket stereo

I have a Pioneer FH-x700bt stereo in my truck, the last couple mornings have been cold (low 30's high 20's) the radio turns one and sounds normal but the display doesn't turn on. Then about half way to work when the cab is warmer the display will come on.

 

any Ideas?

Bad connection or Inverter/lamp for the backlight getting weak, if LCD with fluorescent backlight. If LED then voltage issue internal to radio or bad connection. Since the radio sounds normal, if LED backlit or displays, then Id vote for bad connection. More than likely you have a fluorescent display and it is on its way out.
